CASE Challenge

As part of my commitment to blog more, I’ve teamed up with my lovely friend Becki Ritson from Sunshine Stamping (check out her blog here!).  Our plan is to encourage each other to blog by starting a weekly challenge to CASE projects we love and people we admire, and just like that, the CASE Challenge was born!

What does CASE mean?

Different people interpret CASE in different ways.  One definition is Copy And Share Everything, or another is Copy and Share Exactly, but there are many other ways too.  What Becki and I plan to do is pick a card from a designer we admire, and make our own version of a project she (or he!) has made.  We will take it turns to pick the person, (giving full credit to the original designer of course!) and then we have a week to CASE the card and post it to our blogs.  Every Monday there will be a new challenge.

I get to pick someone to start us off, and I’ve selected the very talented Gail Murray, who is the most recent person to reach 1 million in sales with Stampin’ Up!.  What a fabulous achievement!  I’ve gone to her blog (find it here)  and selected the gorgeous Double Dutch Fold card she made with her Stamp Club.

Isn’t it lovely?  So now Becki and I will make our own versions.  CASE doesn’t mean we have to use the same papers or colours or stamp sets, we are inspired by this project to make something of our own.  Come back next Monday to see our creations and find out who Becki chooses as our spotlight designer.  I can’t wait to see what we come up with!

If you want to join in this challenge, feel free to CASE Gail’s lovely project and take a photo, which you can email to me or upload to the CraftwithEmma Facebook page.  We’ll share the photos we receive in next Monday’s post.

Happy crafting! x
