These cards showcase the beautiful Plush Poinsettia Speciality DSP, which I’ve coloured in using Blends. (Come back tomorrow to see a post explaining this easy technique.)
Once you have your coloured DSP, cut a 6″x6″ square and make a small pencil mark at 1 ½” (4cm) from each corner, and join these lines together. Cut along pencil lines to make 4 identical shapes. Glue the DSP to your card front. I find the DSP really pops from the card if you layer it with some Whisper White first. Check out the photos below to see the difference.
There are many different ways to position the DSP to give a number of different looks. Once you’ve attached your DSP, finish your card with an embellishment and sentiment. I’ve cut out a shape from the Plush DSP using the framelits from the set, and added the Beaded Pearls to the centre.
