October class by post – Curvy Snowflake card

This frosty festive card packs a punch but is easy to put together.  I started with a card base made from Coastal Cabana then added a layer of Snowflake Splendor DSP.  I took a layer of Pool Party cardstock and ran it through the Cut and Emboss machine using the Winter Snow embossing folder, then cut a curve from one corner to the other.  You could use the new Curvy Celebrations dies from the upcoming 2021 Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue, available for advance purchase in November only.  I stuck the embossed pieces to the card front leaving the curvy gap [...]

October Class by Post – Snowflake Window card

This card was CASEd (Copy And Share Everything!) from one of my very talented team members, Jen Lindsay.  It's very straightforward to make, where you replace the front of the Balmy Blue card blank with a window sheet panel, then glue the Balmy Blue Glimmer snowflakes on top.  It's then finished off with a sentiment, some of the luscious Snowflake Splendor ribbon, and the blue adhesive-backed gems.  Quick and easy, but impressive too.

September class by post – Centre Easel card

Measure ¾" (2cm) along the fold of the card at both sides and make a small mark, then make a similar mark at the same measurements on the open side, and trim off a strip at both sides of the card to create a central panel. Fold this panel in half into the centre fold. Using a glue roller like Snail, glue the Plush Vellum square on top of the Gold Foil Square. Add your decoration to the centre.  I stamped the Poinsettia Petal stamps on Whisper White card using versamark ink and then used Gold heat embossing powder [...]

September class by post – DSP Gatefold Card

This fancy fold is actually very simple to do. Fold your card in half to create a standard card base. Measure halfway down the front of the card and cut the top half away to create a "gate". Glue some strips of DSP to a layer of Whisper White, spacing them equally.  The easiest way to do this is to stick the first and third strips first, then place the middle one in between.  Glue this layer inside the card. Glue some smaller DSP strips/squares to a smaller Whisper White layer.  Don't glue this down [...]
