Christmas Tree card

Measure along the bottom of the piece of DSP and mark at 3" (7.6cm), then at the top measure and mark at 1 ½" and 4 ½" (3.9cm and 11.5cm). Draw diagonal lines to join up the marks at top and bottom, and cut to give 3 triangles (see photo) Apply adhesive to the back of the triangle then wrap Silver Mesh ribbon diagonally around the shape. For this card, I folded the ribbon in half to give a narrower strip, but for the other versions I cut the ribbon in half to make it go further.  It's up [...]

Wrapped Parcel Card – stepped up versions

These cards are stepped-up versions of the previous card, to show you how easy it is to make a simple card just a bit fancier! Before cutting the DSP, use a foam brayer or sponge to colour the white dots with ink to match the cardstock. Cut the DSP at ¾" (2cm) and 1 ¼" (3cm). Glue DSP to each corner of the coloured cardstock layer leaving a small border around the edge. Glue the cardstock layer to the card base. Stamp your sentiment on the piece of Whisper White card. Use a punch to [...]

Wrapped Parcel Card

Cut the DSP into four pieces by slicing at 1" (2.5cm) and 1 ½" (3.5cm) Glue DSP to each corner of the card blank leaving a small border around the edge. When sticking this DSP, I would recommend using a glue roller like Snail or Seal rather than a liquid glue like Tombow, as liquid glue can sometimes shine through the paper. Stamp your sentiment on the piece of Whisper White card. I find it easier to stamp first and trim afterwards.  Cut the corners from one end of the sentiment to create a tag shape Stamp one of [...]

Curvy Christmas card

Cut the DSP layers, Gold Foil layer, Sahara Sand layer and Whisper White layer into curves. The easiest way is with the Curvy Dies, but you could do this by hand with scissors Stamp the sentiment along the top of the Whisper White layer. I used the curved sentiment from Curvy Christms and stamped with Sahara Sand ink.  I then used the curved stars stamp from the same set and stamped onto the Whisper White layer with versamark ink, and used Gold embossing powder Wrap some Gold twine around the Sahara Sand layer and tie in a bow To [...]
