October class by post – Snowflake Diorama card

This card folds flat for posting, and pops up to create a diorama of falling snowflakes.  Full instructions are provided with the October Class by Post.  I used Thick Whisper White for the card base, stamping all over in Misty Moonlight ink using the stamps from Snowflake Wishes.  I cut the aperture using the So Many Snowflakes dies, and scored the bottom of the card using my trimmer.  I stuck a piece of Snowflake Splendor DSP inside the card.  I cut a piece of Window Sheet slightly smaller than the card base and stuck it to the inside using [...]

October class by post – Twisted Snowflake mini card

Another easy but fancy fold card.  Take a strip of Pacific Point cardstock and score in two places so you create a square card with a square flap at each side.  Score each side flap diagonally from top left to bottom right, and fold over.  When the flaps are closed, the diagonal join will meet in the middle.  Decorate the outside flaps with triangles of Snowflake Splendor DSP and finish with layered snowflakes cut using the So Many Snowflakes dies, and add an adhesive-backed Blue gem to the centre.  Add a square of Whisper White inside and stamp the [...]

October class by post – Curvy Snowflake card

This frosty festive card packs a punch but is easy to put together.  I started with a card base made from Coastal Cabana then added a layer of Snowflake Splendor DSP.  I took a layer of Pool Party cardstock and ran it through the Cut and Emboss machine using the Winter Snow embossing folder, then cut a curve from one corner to the other.  You could use the new Curvy Celebrations dies from the upcoming 2021 Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue, available for advance purchase in November only.  I stuck the embossed pieces to the card front leaving the curvy gap [...]
