August Class by Post – Z Fold card

This is another card that's simple to make, but gets a Wow! when it's opened.  Full measurements were given to my Class by Post members, and I hope to do a video in due course. The card base and front strip were cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock.  The panels and front strip were decorated with Designer Series Paper from the World of Good Specialty DSP pack, and also Whisper White panels that were stamped with sentiments from the Beautiful World stamp set.  I created the globe embellishment using Brass foil sheets and the World [...]

July Class by Post – Balloon card 3

Still continuing with the Hooray to You cards, this one uses foam daubers directly onto the stamp to give a multicoloured effect.  I find it's easier doing this with the Stamparatus, as you can go over on the top again if one area hasn't stamped properly, but you can use a clear block as well if you wish. Start with half a sheet of A4 cardstock cut in half lengthways, then fold in half.  Score along one side to create a flap that folds down.  Decorate with strips of Rainbow glimmer paper (I stuck them on to a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock first for contrast.)  Then tie some Metallic-edged ribbon around the whole card, creating a pocket.  Finish off with a nice bow, some sequins, and of course a sentiment. To [...]

June Class by Post – Locked Gatefold Card

This card was inspired by a design by the wonderfully-talented Amanda Charlesworth (see the original on her blog here).  The front panel slides to lock the side gatefold panels in a really clever way. I used Misty Moonlight card as the base, and coordinating DSP along with the contrasting colour Magenta Madness. Whisper White card is used for the slider mechanism, and I've stamped the sentiment from Many Mates in Misty Moonlight ink, with some decoration using the In Color enamel dots and a bit of Misty Moonlight ribbon to finish. [...]
