Case challenge 15 – winter sketch

Week 15 on the CASE challenge, and we're really getting festive now.  This week's inspiration was the winter sketch of a gorgeous card by Chris Smith, more info here.  As soon as I saw this card, I knew exactly how I wanted to CASE it.  I've fallen completely in love with the Snowflake Showcase suite of products, only available during November.  I knew the snowflakes would work perfectly with this design. Case challenge 14 – two tone diecutting

Week 14 on the CASE challenge is a gorgeous two tone design by Darlene McCallum, more info here. Her lovely card was great for a birthday, but I'm in a more festive mood right now. Case challenge 13 – stamping off

Week 13 on the CASE challenge is this beautifully elegant card by Julia Carmichael, more info here.  The stamping off technique is simple but effective, and can be used in so many different ways.  I decided to go festive, and so started off with thick Very Vanilla for my card base.  I used the Peaceful Noel stamp set, with it's lovey winter foliage images.  I stamped in Tranquil Tide, Merry Merlot and Soft Suede, with each one also stamped off to get the fainter shadow image beside it.  To make things easy, I used my Layering Squares framelits to cut [...]
