This card is a lot easier to make than it looks!  It’s great for men’s cards when you use this suite, but of course you could make it in any colours.

I started with a cardbase in Misty Moonlight cardstock, and then folded the front panel back in half.  Then I used the Layering Circle dies to cut a hole from the front of the card, using the fold line to ensure a central position.  I wanted a hole that was larger than the globe die.  I then used the same circle dies to cut two rings from Brass foil, making sure the centre was the same size as the hole in my card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set with Misty Moonlight ink onto Whisper White cardstock, and cut it with the circle die from the World Map dies.  Then I cut one of the globe shapes from the World Map dies with Brass foil sheets (making sure to have adhesive sheets behind the foil before cutting!).  I glued the brass globe onto a circle cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock and using the circle die from World Maps.

I cut a length of Linen thread and used tear tape to glue it to the back of the Misty Moonlight/brass globe circle, leaving about an inch at the top and bottom.  I then covered the whole circle in glue and stuck the Whisper White/sentiment circle on top, sandwiching the thread in between.

I folded the front of the card blank back in half and glued one of the Brass rings to the left hand side of the hole.  The other part of the ring sticks out.  Using tear tape, I glued the Linen thread to the top and bottom of the ring, making sure it was stretched tight, then stuck the second ring on top to trap the thread in between.  I opened the front of the card fully, which bent the brass ring back on itself.

I glued a panel of DSP from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper inside the card, and then stuck another circle cut from Whisper White card using the World Dies circle die.  This circle should be hidden by the spinner when the card is closed. This gives a space for writing in the card.  I finished the front with some Faux Suede trim and an Antique Slide.

TOP TIP: If you twist the spinner element round a few times before closing the card, when the recipient opens it, it will spin round a few times.
