Tonight’s live crafting used the Extraordinary Flora stamps, dies and the incredible washi tape.  I used the tape on both Basic White card and Window sheets, and I think I prefer the Basic White as the background, as you don’t see the dimensionals when adding the flowers to the card.

I like the first card with the Flirty Flamingo and Strawberry Slush flowers, it’s clean and simple, but I think the stepped up version with the Birch Wood embossing folder just adds something to the design.

When I looked to buy this set, I honestly wondered about getting just the die and the washi tape, and wasn’t sure how often I would use the stamps.  Now, I’m so glad I got the whole lot, as it opens up a world of colour possibilities, including embossing.  I think gold embossing on black is a classic combination, and I’ll never grow bored of the magic of watching embossing powder heat and give that incredible shine.

I used the Birch Wood embossing folder on the black card, but felt the detail was lost until I used the White craft ink over the top to give definition.  I think it made the difference.
