On Stage

This weekend is On Stage @ Home, which is an online event run by Stampin’ Up! for their Demonstrators.  Normally at this time of year we meet in person, and I’ve loved going to SU! events in Dortmund, Brussels, Manchester, even Disneyland Paris.  I’ve been to every SU! event in Europe since they started holding them in 2009, and I certainly wasn’t going to miss this one just because it was online!

Several of my team had signed up to attend too, and usually we have fun with team gifts and swaps.  The original plan was to meet at my house and watch the event online together, however local restrictions currently in place made this impossible.  I was determined nobody should miss out, so we still arranged to swap cards with each other, and I made some gifts for the team as well.

The first gift was actually planned back when I thought we would meet in person.  I made each of my team a personalised bottle of hand sanitiser, which was meant to reassure everyone about hygiene and safety when meeting.  I hope it still comes in useful for them!  The bottles were packaged using the printed gusseted bags from the Annual Catalogue, along with some chocolate.  The tag was made using either Cherry Cobbler or Shaded Spruce card decorated with a silver foil shape cut using the Stitched Stars dies.  The tags were finished off with the trusty Scalloped Tag Topper punch and some of the gorgeous silver metallic mesh ribbon from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue.

There was an extra special gift for my Silver team members.  As well as the hand sanitiser bottle, they also got a personalised water bottle (with fruit infuser, how posh!).  I love to treat my team, and extra effort gets extra rewards!

They also got some wish lists to help them plan what they want (need?!) from the new catalogue, which event attendees got to see before anyone else, plus the cardstock needed for the make & take projects during the event.  Come back tomorrow tomorrow to see all the gorgeous cards we swapped in the team.

If all of this sounds like fun and you’d like to join in, why not thinking about becoming a demonstrator yourself?  I have crafters at all levels on my team, and a selection of those who want to run a business as well as those who just want discounted goodies.  Drop me an email and I’ll send you over some info and answer any questions you might have.  Or if you’ve already made your mind up, click the link below to join the Stamping Starlets!
