Bootsale this weekend!

It's this weekend!  50 tables of craft room clear outs under one roof.  I will be there with loads of goodies I'm reluctantly parting with after my craft room renovations, and Hubby will also be there to make sure I don't bring any of it back home again!  My motto is "Make space not money" so I guarantee there will be bargains galore at rock bottom prices.  Plenty of parking too.  Pop by and say hi!

Before any work started, I had measured the wall and worked out that I could fit in units that were 12 cubbies wide in total.  Ikea sell Kallax in a variety [...]

New/old fireplace has arrived!

My gorgeous new/old fireplace is here!  The experts at Glasgow Architectural Salvage did an amazing job restoring it, and here you can see the builders holding it in place where it will go in the craft room.  Below are the photos of what was originally in that space, and then the photo of the fire before restoration, so you can see how much work has gone in to making it so beautiful.  It's had a basket added to the front, and the metalwork restored and blackened.  I can't wait for it to be fully installed!
