Facebook live behind the scenes

Hello!  As you may know, I do a weekly live video every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm (GMT) which streams live to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously.  The video is usually crafting, often a new kit, and I'll do unboxing videos of new Stampin' Up! goodies too.  It's really fun to chat with you, and my lovely viewers often give invaluable suggestions and feedback during the design process. This week is a little different.  I am travelling with work and so I often try and record a video in advance.  This time I decided to show you behind the scenes, and [...]

Finally, did you spot the new cupboards in the alcoves?!  More Ikea, this time the Havsta units, which our fabulous builders have adjusted so they fit snuggly into the space we've [...]

New floor!

I am so excited about my new floor!  I know it sounds like such a daft thing, but I am totally in love with it.  You can clearly see where the old boards stop and the slightly newer (but still reclaimed wood) boards start, but for me this just tells the story of the room and it's journey.  I decided to go for a clear varnish rather than a stain, and the eagle-eyed amongst you will spot the floor port with plugs (which should make things like heat embossing so much easier!).  It should be hard-wearing, durable, and most [...]
