Walls plastered and perfect

The alcoves are now built and the plasterer and his crew have done some incredible work! Everything is smooth and pink and now needs time to dry before painting. There's other work going on elsewhere in the house, so this room is on pause while it dries.

Ikea delivery!

I've been so excited for this day! All of the Ikea furniture for my craft room has arrived. It came in two deliveries, one smaller box from DPD with small items, and then a much larger truck with BIG boxes. The lovely delivery guys took them all the way into the kitchen for us. Why the kitchen, you ask? Well it's about the only room left in the house with any space. The plan was to build the furniture in the kitchen, then once the floor is finished in the craft room, all the furniture can be moved in. [...]
