I’ve had lots of fun creating the designs for September’s box. We’re starting on Christmas, and if you’re anything like me, you can never start too early. These designs are a mix of quick and easy for the bulk cards you send, with some extra fancy ones included for those special people in your life.
The suite we’re showcasing this month is the beautiful Poinsettia Place. I’ll confess, I skipped past this one originally, but the more I saw dome with it, the more I fell in love. The Designer Series Paper doesn’t look like much in the book, buy is luscious in the flesh, and the flocked vellum has to be seen in person to really appreciate it. I’ve included the other items in the suite and also some of the red velvet paper from p63 of the Autumn/Winter book. I’m really hoping that stuff carries over, as it’s beautiful to work with. The stamps have matching dies which also cut out some of the shapes on the DSP and the vellum. (I’ll post photos on the VIP group so you can see what I mean.) Overall this set has so many possibilities. You’ve already seen how it can be used in a non-Christmas way with your Thank You card in the August box. Yes, that wreath card was made using these stamps and dies!
