I just had to show you the cards I made yesterday! On Monday I received the most gorgeous card in the post from my lovely Upline, Bekka Prideaux (find her blog here!). She is so good at celebrating our achievements, and had sent me the card on the left for my achievements in July. Well I thought it was just stunning, so decided to CASE it as best I could.
It uses the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper cut into squares measuring 4″x4″, then sliced diagonally and glued to a Whisper White card base. I then cut 1cm strips of white glimmer paper (now called Sparkle, apparently!) and stuck these next to the DSP. I realised too late that Bekka’s strips were probably a little thinner, plus I didn’t have the “Celebrate” stamp that she used, however I have the Celebrate You thinlits that I thought would work just as well, so I cut out the word in some coordinating colours and stuck them on. I’m really pleased with the result!
