Here’s my entry for the very first Case Challenge, do you like them? You’ll remember there was a post last week announcing the designer that we were going to CASE, and for the very first challenge we chose the very talented Gail Murray and her Double Dutch Fold cards. My friend Becki and I have both CASE’d the design, and here is what I came up with.
As I mentioned in my sneak peek earlier in the week I’ve used the Nature’s Poem suite, with the gorgeous Rooted in Nature stamp set. The card bases were made using the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper and coordinating cardstock pack. I stamped the images using the same colours, and cut out with the layering framelits. I love how this fancy fold can use multiple shapes on the front and still be effective. To finish off I added rhinestones or pearls.
If you joined in with this challenge, I’d love to see your designs. You can share them on the Craft with Emma Facebook page.
Make sure you head over to Sunshine Stamping and see Becki Ritson’s entry – follow this link here!
Becki has also chosen next week’s designer to CASE, the lovely Anna Smith! She has made the most gorgeous cards shown below, and you can find these on her blog here: http://www.scrappingstampingandstuff.com/block-stamping-technique-thinking-card/
Come back next week to see the cards Becki and I have made using Anna’s cards as inspiration. If you’d like to join in the challenge, please go to my Facebook page Craft with Emma where you can share your creations, I’d love to see what you come up with!
Happy stamping!

I love these Emma! The Nature’s Poem DSP is so pretty, too – how funny that we both used it! Thanks for setting the Dutch Fold as a challenge. I really enjoyed it. :-) x
I love your cards and need info on the fold itself. My brain can’t figure it out.
I hope to do a video soon giving more info, so pop back soon!
