September class by post – Gold and Red Gift box

This is super-quick to put together and would make a fabulous gift for someone this Christmas.  The pizza boxes are food safe too, so you could fill it with chocolates or cookies, for a yummy treat. Assemble the Pizza box and glue the Plush Vellum square to the top of the lid.  Add your decoration to the centre.  I stamped the Poinsettia Petal stamps on Real Red card using versamark ink and then used Gold heat embossing powder to give a luxurious effect.  The flower was cut out using the coordinating Poinsettia dies, and put together with foam pads [...]

CASE challenge 9 – teeny gift bags

Aren't these teeny gift bags the cutest?!  This week we're casing the lovely Andrea Gutzmer, check out the info here.   I just love her teeny bags using DSP and cardstock for little sweetie pouches.  I decided to make my version a little smaller, as I had some Fererro Rochers just crying out for cute packaging.  I also decided to use coordinating cardstock for by bottom half rather than white, as I wanted a nice contrast with the Designer Series Paper top. New ink pad storage

I'm really pleased with my latest creation!  When Stampin' Up! changed the design of their ink pad, I knew I wanted to find a new storage solution.  The new-style pads still fit loosely in the carousel, but I don't really have space for it on my desk any more, and I wanted to keep the inks close to hand.  There are some amazing ink pad storage units that you can buy online, but given our recent house move I don't really have the budget for anything too fancy, so I decided to just make something myself! I had some foam [...]
