I cannot describe how happy I am that the Ikea units are now moving into the room!  You would not believe how many times I measured the left hand side wall to check that the Kallax configuration we had come up with would actually fit, and I was really worried about it somehow not fitting in the space.  But now I can breathe easy, the units fit in beautifully, and everything is really starting to come together.

I will show a better photo of the Kallax units in due course, but as you might notice, there’s still a lot of work going on in the room so I couldn’t get a picture that showed them off in all their glory.  That will come soon tho, I promise!

You can also see the desk partially set up.  There is two sets of drawers plus a cupboard with a secret inside, but you’ll have to come back another day to see what that is.

The units on top of the desk will also be mounted properly, these aren’t their final position.

What do you think?  I’m loving the look of the white units and natural wood together, it’s exactly what I was dreaming of :)
